Capodichino Airport is the only Naples City Airport, located about 7 km from downtown, approx. 30 minutes by taxi or bus. It offers efficient services and a variety of flights, allowing people to reach Naples from many destinations, including intercontinental ones.

Napoli Centrale is the main railway station of the city, located about 3 km from downtown, approx. 15 minutes by taxi or bus. Many high-speed trains connect Napoli Centrale with a large amount of cities in Italy and in Europe. For information about railway routes:

At Naples Capodichino airport, the taxi stand is located outside the Terminal 1 (where all incoming flights land). Before boarding the vehicle, ask the driver to apply the fixed rate (€ 24,00) from the airport to Naples Beverello docks.
At Napoli Centrale railway station, the taxi stand is located just at the exit of the station. Before boarding the vehicle, ask the driver to apply the fixed rate (€ 15,50) from the station to Naples Beverello docks.

Naples Beverello docks can be reached also by Alibus, the fast connecting bus line between Naples Airport and the City Centre. Alibus stops at Capodichino airport, Napoli Centrale railway station and Beverello docks. Tickets are available on board at € 5,00.

The Alibus stops are located at:
- Capodichino Airport: outside Terminal 1
- Napoli Centrale railway station: immediately outside the exit of the station
- Beverello docks: on the right-hand side at the exit of the port

Journey times:
Capodichino Airport – Beverello docks and vice versa: 35 min approx.
Napoli Centrale railway station – Beverello docks and vice versa: 20 min approx.
Capodichino Airport – Napoli Centrale railway station and vice versa: 15 min approx.

Boat to Ischia

At Naples Beverello docks you can take a boat to Ischia Porto. Boats (Aliscafi and Traghetti’s) timetables and fares are available on the websites of Alilauro and Caremar, the main shipping companies that provide marine transports between Naples and Ischia:

Note that schedule changes in summer, so check when summertime is approaching.

HOW TO GET TO THE CONFERENCE VENUE

Once at Ischia Porto, the way to the conference venue (Hotel Continental Terme) takes 30 minutes by walk (2 km). Alternatively, you can reach the venue by taxi (stop in front of the landing pier, fare € 15,00) or by bus lines L5, L6, CD (departure from Capolinea Piazzale Trieste).
